There's something you should know about me.

I really like champagne.

There's something you should know about my dog.

He can be a real hooker sometimes.

Before Adam left for work this morning, he suggested we go out for dinner tonight. My very logical and intentionally over excited but slightly obnoxious response was, "Ooh, like a date?! I'm excited!!" (I really was excited. I love food, restaurants, and dressing up for dinner.)

Then... 4 o'clock came and I didn't feel like getting dressed up anymore, so I called Adam to express my feelings of laziness, and he brought Indian food home instead. Mix that with champagne and my dog, who clearly needs me to scratch his belly at this very second, and you get this.
