And 50 or more years ago they did wear their belts around their stomach,thats the great thing about fashion trends you will see them more than once in a lifetime:)

A good point though, now that all these outfits are no doubt permanently embedded into the interweb.... just think of how many people will laugh at my outfits years from now. Undoubtedly, at least double the number that do now.
50 years from now we are going to get laughed at for wearing belts around our stomachs.
