My wife just equated buying a house to a finale in a musical... "Everyone we've been working with over the past few months came together and they were happy, and we were happy, and I got that knot feeling in my throat I get when everyone is happy, just like I do at the end of a musical. Only no one was singing. It felt like there was singing though."
Debt sucks. Shopping doesn't. I can't have one without the other, so I've sworn off shopping for 365 days.
